CUSTOMER NOTICE - ICE SKATING BOOKINGS PUBLIC SKATE SESSIONS Following the announcement from the Northern Ireland Executive, unfortunately we are required to cancel all public ice skating sessions at Dundonald International Ice Bowl from Friday 16th October at 6pm, for a four week period. ... Customers who have an ice skating booking during this period will now have their session cancelled and should receive an email with further instructions. We would encourage customers to rebook their ice skating session when we reopen at www.theicebowl.com. ICE SKATING LESSONS All ice skating lessons are currently suspended. It is anticipated lessons will recommence weekend of 14/15 November. Customers will remain enrolled on their course of lessons and no further action is required. In the meantime, we would like to wish all our customers well and remind everyone to continue to follow the advice issued by the Northern Ireland Executive and Public Health Agency. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back to our centre very soon!

We want the Primary School children of our council area to show us how they have been ‘doing the right thing’ to stick to the public health advice, to keep safe and keep in touch with loved ones. So get your iPads and phones ready & upload a short 20-second video of your child before 12noon on Fri 4th Dec on your Facebook or Twitter page. ... - Use #KidsDoTheRightThing and make sure the post is made public - Your child must attend a primary school within the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area. The Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council will select his top three favourite videos* which will then go to a public vote on Facebook. The overall winner will get a 100 voucher to spend within the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area and will be notified week beginning 7th December. This is a great way to get local kids involved in helping spread the very important public health message and also to test their acting skills. OUR GYMS REMAIN OPEN Following the announcement by the NI Executive, we would like to advise customers that our gyms at the following facilities remain open. Lagan Valley LeisurePlex Lough Moss Leisure Centre... Billy Neill MBE Country Park Glenmore Activity Centre Kilmakee Activity Centre Grove Activity Centre (re-opening from Monday 19 October) All gym sessions must be booked online in advance through the Vitality App or by visiting www.theleisureplex.com or www.theicebowl.com. Walk-ins will not be permitted and customers will be declined entry without a prior booking. To ensure the safety of customers and staff, all gyms will operate in accordance with government guidelines for gathering limits and social distancing. This includes a stringent and regular cleaning regime and restricted numbers and times to put customers mind at rest. NEW RESTRICTIONS Following the announcement by the NI Executive, our indoor leisure activities will be cancelled, with the exception of our gyms and swimming pool, from Friday 16 October at 6pm for a four week period. This will mean the cancellation of the following activities:... Indoor classes - including ice skating lessons All activities at Dundonald International Ice Bowl Racquet sports Synthetic pitch bookings Leisure Pool and Mission Inflatable sessions Activities which will remain OPEN: The swimming pool at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex can be booked for lane and family tank swims. Gym sessions are available at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex, Lough Moss Leisure Centre, Billy Neill MBE Country Park, Glenmore Activity Centre, Kilmakee Activity Centre & Grove Activity Centre. Lane swimming and all gym sessions must be booked online in advance through the Vitality App or www.theleisureplex.com. Family tank swim sessions must be booked through the main reception desk by phoning 028 9267 2121. Customers without an advance booking will be declined access to our centres. We would encourage customers and clubs whose booking has been impacted by the new restrictions to book their activities again when we reopen as normal.
