2020 Golf and Bowling Classic. 15 years have come and gone! Thank you to everyone who participated and thank you to all the hole sponsors. We all knew this year would be a little different. Germania Bowling Club would like to say thank you for doing your best to follow all the rules and allowing this years event to go on. Last but not least everybody give Trent Corkran , Josh Brown and Austin Haecker a round of applause for running this tournament and doing a damn good job!

All trophy bowling in Guadalupe co. has been cancelled for the rest of this year. Team captains will be notified.

FINALLY SOME NEWS !!! It looks like we may get the ok open on May 18th. As of this time we do not know what restrictions will be implicated. The board of directors has scheduled a meeting for May 19th at 7pm to discuss all information given to us on the 18th. On Thursday May 21st we will be holding a captains meeting for all current teams. We would like to invite 1 or 2 members of each team to discuss an opening strategy. We would like to take input from all teams and let t...he bowlers make the decision as to when we open. Topics will include ... Which teams are ready to return , which teams are not ready , when do we open , do we start where the schedule left off , do we skip the last 3 weeks and go straight to roll off , do we scrap the whole league entirely and start a new one , Go through the list of names on the current sign up sheet for next league and any other topic our team captains would like to discuss. If any matters need to be voted on , each team will get 1 vote and majority rules. We would like for each team captain to discuss these matters with their team and represent their team at our captains meeting. Germania Bowling Club is a club that belongs to and is owned by every member. We do not feel at a time like this it is fair that only a select few ( The Board of Directors) make these decisions that effect all of us. We as a club only go as far as our members take us. We would like all teams to have a say so in this matter. Hope to see all team captains at our meeting and with any bit of luck we can open our doors and return to a small piece of normalcy.
