BC Lanes Youth League: I will be in the BC Lanes parking lot tomorrow, Tue, Dec 8, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm for:... - PICTURE order pick up...if you ordered bowling pictures. - PEPSI paperwork *...still need confirmations and paperwork from many Pepsi bowlers. - STATE paperwork *...bowlers interested in competing at states as a single, double, or team can pick up paperwork or ask for more details. Would your bowler like to make a double or team for State, but not sure what bowlers are interested. Sad news...Youth League is cancelled through Dec 8 or until BC Lanes reopening. The lanes are preparing to close under new health dept. orders. Additionally, all sports stop immediately (MHSAA) and with high school moving to online, we are going to follow suit. When the Lanes are able to reopen (TBA), we will evaluate the possibility of extending the league season. Stay tuned. Unfortunately, we knew it could happen. Again sorry. Hope to see you all soon. HALLOWEEN 9-PIN NO-TAP TOURNAMENT 10/31 (please RSVP) On Saturday, October 31, we will be running a fun 9-Pin No-Tap (glow-bowl) Tournament for our youth league members, free of cost. Doors will open at 1 pm and Tournament to start about 1:30 pm. This is free and optional to attend. For those that don’t know what a 9-Pin No-Tap Tournament is if they knock down 9 pins with their first ball it is a strike.... We will have a costume contest for those wanting to dress up, but it is optional. Prizes awarded for tournament and costume contest. PLEASE RSVP if your bowler plans to be there OR not (asap).

Please DO NOT miss youth league on October 20 or 27, if at all possible. Bowler’s cannot pre- or post- bowl to be eligible. This is a regular league night, but the three-game scores are used to qualify some of our members to go to the Pepsi Tournament in the Spring. The more bowlers we have each nightthe more spots available to send our young bowlers to the tournament to bowl with youth bowlers from all over Michigan. Pepsi Championship will be held in Muskegon, MI in May 2021.

Congrats Jack and Hailey!!! Boyne City represented well at the USBC Schildroth Invitational today, wrapping up the 2019-2020 season (covid postponed). Jack had a 718 (835 hcp) Series and earned 1st for Boys 15-19 division. Hailey had a 472 (679 hcp) Series and earned 2nd for Girls 12-14 division. ... Nice bowling. Boyne Pride!!

FALL YOUTH LEAGUE NOTICE: This fall with everything going on (COVID, etc.) we will only be offering upper two divisions (9-18 yrs old) for the regular USBC / Youth League Season. COVID NOTICE: It may not be your opinions or views, but as long as mask and safety guidelines are in effect at school, we will respect safety measures in order to be able to offer Youth League this fall! Social distancing will be difficult, so a mask/gaiter is required (may pull down for bowling and to drink). Also, bowler must feel well and be fever free, use the same seat during league (stay seated when not bowling), stay in the seats (other than bathroom break), keep hand sanitized and washed. We will be firm with our guidelines they year and will dismiss bowlers, if needed.

Congrats BC Lanes Bowler - Michael Deming!! Earned his Golden Ticket for an opportunity to compete at the Junior Gold National Championship next July!

Congrats BC Lanes Youth League/BCHS bowler, Jack Wicker, on earning his Golden Ticket to JG Championship next summer in Indiana. Finished 3rd place (178 avg) at Junior Gold qualifier in Gaylord.
